Dr. Scott P. Durrett, M.D.Scott P. Durrett, M.D. - Board Certified Ophthalmologist

Dr. Durrett currently resides in Venice with his wife, Kelly and two children, Alyssa and Ryan. Kelly is a practicing anesthesiologist in the Venice area. Dr. Durrett is a native of Florida and returns to the Gulf coast to practice ophthalmology. Dr. Durrett provides comprehensive management of eye care including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, emergency and routine eye care. He offers some of the most advanced cataract surgery available including ReSTOR®, Crystalens™ and Tecnis® multi-focal lens implants which significantly reduces the need for distance and reading glasses.

Dr. Durrett received his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. His residency followed at the University of Florida. Dr. Durrett was honored to be selected as a chief resident earning his fellowship in cataract surgery.

Dr. Durrett also has memberships to the following:

  • American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons

Dr. Robert V. Daddario, O.D.Robert V. Daddario, O.D. - Board Certified Optometrist

Dr. Daddario currently resides in Sarasota with his wife, Daniele and two children, Mathieu and Juliette. He has lived and practiced in Sarasota County for the past 19 years.

Dr. Daddario's experience in hospital-based primary eye care enhances the quality of service provided by Provision Eye Center. His knowledge in pre and post surgical management, emergency ophthalmic care and contact lens fittings compliment Dr. Durrett's excellent surgical skills in Cataract and Glaucoma care.

Dr. Daddario is a board certified optometric physician with experience in primary eye care, pre-operative, and post-operative management of cataract and laser surgery patients. His focus includes eye pathology and eye diseases. This led him to complete a residency at JFK Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia. Originally from Connecticut, he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, and his doctorate degree from the highly respected New England College of Optometry. He completed a residency at Kennedy Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and has practiced in Florida ever since.

Dr. Daddario has been a member of the Florida Optometric Association since 1991.
